MY BACKGROUND
Family Focused
I have been interested in all things related to bodywork since high school, where my fascination with the nervous system began. After studying psychology and neuroscience in college, I discovered how breathwork and bodywork can have profound impacts on, well, everything. In 2012, I had the privilege of massaging one expecting mother throughout her pregnancy, and she shared a wealth of information with me, which included her birth stories and experiences with doula care. I immediately began researching and pursuing a certification in birth doula support. I have since dedicated my career to developing skills and practices to help women, babies, and families feel more secure, regulated, and in-tune with themselves and one-another. I love this work.
When not doing birth-and-bodywork-related activies, you can find me spending time with my friends and family. I enjoy listening to and playing music, or anything food-related (gardening, cooking, eating.) I love stand-up comedy and being outdoors. I feel so lucky to call Bloomington home.
